Richard Windeyer

Digital media creative, audio artist, composer, musician and educator. Member of the core creative team behind internationally-acclaimed Bluemouth Inc Presents – a theatre company that creates uniquely immersive and participatory experiences that challenge conventional audience-performer relationships. Thrives on working and thinking across disciplines. Main area of interest is the impact of digital technologies and generative systems on creative process, live performance and user experience. Performs regularly with Finger (a digital media trio exploring the impact of electronic mediation on traditional music performance practice), rEDwIREaRCHaNGEL (conducted free-poly-funk big band project with live electronics conceived and directed by Toronto musician Nilan Perera), and The National Exit Strategy (live drums and electronics). Collaborators include Bruce Barton/Vertical City Performance, Angela Rawlings, DNA Theatre, New Adventures in Sound Art, InterArts Matrix (Waterloo), The Independent Aunties. He also teaches courses in music technology and electroacoustic music at Wilfrid Laurier University.
