I am an audio artist, educator, musician and digital media specialist based in Toronto. Since 2000, I have been a core creative artist with Bluemouth Inc Presents – an internationally-acclaimed arts organization that creates uniquely immersive and participatory experiences that challenge conventional audience-performer relationships.
I thrive on working and thinking across disciplines. My main area of interest is the impact of digital technologies and generative systems on the creative process, live performance, user experience and instructional design.
As an educator, I have taught courses in music technology, sound recording and electroacoustic music creation at Wilfrid Laurier University since 2000. I also maintain a private teaching and consulting practice that provides expert instruction in the integration of drums and percussion playing with digital music technologies, electronic music production and critical listening skills.
Experienced in both web and print production, I am currently pursuing a Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Toronto.
